Question: Credit Card Authorization – what does it mean?

Answer: The credit card authorization policy has a double meaning. In order to create a win-win situation, these are the 2 possible scenarios:

  1. Credit card authorization allows you to pay for the rented room directly from your bank account, meaning no cash money will be necessary to be withdrawn.
  2. When making a reservation, your credit card will need to be linked to it. In the case you are forced to cancel your reservation, you can do it respecting the Cancellation policy of Colombus Hotel. In any cases, no additional fees will be applied.

Question: What is a Voucher?

Answer: A voucher represents your entry ticket inside the hotel. Due to the fact that most of their clients are tourists, many room reservations are paid directly from a bank account.

The moment payment is processed, a voucher will be delivered to your email address, confirming that you are all set up to go. In order to have access into the hotel, you are requested to present your Voucher at the entry point.

In case of an unexpected event, you are able to print your Voucher from the entry point, by providing them your personal identification number.

Question: How do I cancel a reservation?

Answer: When making a cancellation, there are several ways of doing it, depending on the type of room booked.

  • If the room booked included into its information a limited period for free cancellation, everything is clear. If the limit is exceeded a 50% fee will be deducted from your credit card, if not, no charges will be applied.
  • If reservation is made on a room that doesn’t offer this possibility, a full one night booking fee will be applied to your bank account.
